Details can be found in the minutes of each AGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Income<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our income comes from membership fees and from surpluses created by events organised by the club.&nbsp; Membership fees are set annually at the AGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Expenditure<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The major items are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mapping,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purchase, maintenance and insurance of equipment,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expenses incurred by volunteers. Members are encouraged to <a href=\"https:\/\/harlequins.org.uk\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/FORM_ExpenseClaim2026_April.xls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">use the Expenses form <\/a>which includes guidance on what can be claimed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Entry Fee Subsidies:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without the many hours of volunteer effort from our members, entry fees to HOC events would be much higher.&nbsp; To recognise this the club subsidises members\u2019 entries to some competitions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Half price entry for helpers at HOC Regional events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>50% of Senior entry to CompassSport Cup competitions, 100% of Junior entries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>50% of Senior entry and 100% of Junior entry to the following Relay competitions where you are representing HOC:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>British Relay Championships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jan Kjellstr\u00f6m Orienteering Festival Relays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Harvester Relays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peter Palmer Junior Relays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Senior both representing the club and helping at one of these events qualifies for a 100% subsidy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This policy is subject to review by the Committee to ensure that it is financially sustainable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Annual accounts are by the Treasurer and independently reviewed before being submitted to the Annual General Meeting for approval.
