City of Birmingham Orienteering

City of Birmingham Orienteering

We organise monthly Beginners, Families and Schools Events on Saturday afternoons in various parks in Birmingham. The aim of this is to attract more people into orienteering and to set up a Primary and Secondary School League.

We work closely with the Birmingham City Council recreation and education departments. and have been successful in promoting orienteering in schools, youth groups, and the inner city areas. Traditional city parks and small areas of urban woodland have been used to bring newcomers to the sport.
