This trophy is awarded at the discretion of the Chairman. It is awarded on the basis of out-of-the-ordinary service to the Club. For 2023 it was presented to Paul Basher:

For the last few years, and particularly since the Pandemic, we have increasingly used MapRun for Night Street Events and “anytime” orienteering courses. One person in particular has been instrumental in our adoption of MapRun, offering advice and guidance to novice planners.

He has also served nearly a decade as Mapping Officer, getting us into new areas like Longdon, Bodenham and Shatterford, as well as keeping the rest of his portfolio up to date for events and helping new mappers.
