We were lucky with the weather … the rain held off until the last controls had been collected. Many thanks to those helpers; we were finished by 8.30.

Apologies to those who had problems on 11 and 24; I shouldn’t have chosen those control-sites. I have added an extra control to those who went from 160 to 162 without finding 161, and to those who went from 175 or 183 to 185 without finding 184. I had spent some time trying to find off-path control-sites that were fair with summer vegetation, but in these two cases I failed. I blame the Controller……Mr A T Hemsted Esq
