I would be the first to admit I was not feeling it yesterday. Even less so after my own run, I was out for a long time and many of you agreed it was a tough day.

However, conditions were the same for all clubs, and in the end we did it!! From the onset we knew we could not take SYO on, but we “only” had to beat MDOC to go through to the final.

POTOC had some IT issues on the day, and we packed up the tent up and returned home without any clues on how we had done. It was not until last night we realised we came second, and never has a second place felt so good!

Thank you to Chris McCartney for doing an excellent map talk at last weeks Social, it was what we all needed and I am sure it had a great impact on how we ran.

I will start my nagging early, can you all please put Sunday 12 November 2023 in your diaries. BOK will host and it will be held at New Beechenhurst, Forest of Dean.

To make a mark we need to turn up with the biggest team we can get together!
