Night Street League latest
The pdf results from the Codsall and Aston Fields event are linked here and displayed on screen below, as is the latest League table. Series co-ordinator John Leeson reports:
After nine events, and with just the season finale to come, the Night Street League has two clear leaders in the Open category in Eloise Lee and Ben Crone, who have both had a series of near perfect scores. James Thomas, Robert Rose and Dave Aldridge are in a close battle for second spot in the men’s Open while Sammy Pritchard is some way behind Eloise, in the Ladies Open, having scored in just three events so far.
In the Ladies Vets, Mandy Mackereth has a 25 point lead over Karen Thompson, which Karen could close if she wins the ladies race at Kingswinford (no pressure, Karen!). In the Men’s Vets, John Leeson is just two points ahead of Peter Langmaid.
And in the Men’s Super Vets, Robert Vickers and Colin Palmer are separated by just five points, with Colin having scored in five events so far, so he could pip Robert if he makes it to Kingswinford. Jenny Uff (who we haven’t seen at a NSL event in 2024) leads the SuperVets Ladies.
The final event of the season is a return to Kingswinford on 21 March, where Kerstin and Martin Mitchell will be hosting the event at their business in the Dawson Trading Estate. For those that want it, there will be a post-run fish and chip supper, so please let Kerstin know if you would like her to order this for you. I look forward to seeing you all there.
