The deliberations are over, VAR has been reviewed and the winners of the 2022 Club Championships have been announced. Congratulations to Arthur Mitchell for winning the Bert Pardoe handicap and to Mandy Mackereth and Jason Howell for winning the Open Trophies. The prize giving is scheduled for the 10th March at the Somers Club – more details soon. Organiser John says: A total of 18 Harlequins and guests braved one of the coldest nights of the year to return to Pitcheroak Woods in Redditch after an absence of over three years. In the interim, I have re-mapped the area using Lidar data and have extended the urban area. Entries for the Laurie Bradley New Year’s Day Score Event close on Sunday 18 December – Christmas closing at the printers means an early closing date. Entries can be made via Fabian4, and full details are on the Wrekin web site (https://wrekinorienteers.co.uk) And – Wrekin now have the use of the Telford Hornets Rugby Club as the event centre, which will provide free parking, toilets, bar and a warm dry place for presentations!
