British Night Champions

British Night Champions

Congratulations to Alex Mitchell (M20) and Alison Sloman (W85) who beat the wind, ice, rock and snow on Saturday night to become British Night Champions in their age classes. It was a real challenge for everyone who braved the conditions, and even more so for the hardy volunteers of our neighbouring club, North Gloucestershire. Thank you NGOC!

The scores have been updated after 6 of the 7 events, and with the BEST FOUR events counting it is a very close competition going into the final event – Brandon Woods on 5th December. Pre-entries via Fabian close on Sunday, there will be entry on the day while maps last but do email the organiser to reserve a map – details on the linked flyer. Well done to our CSC Final team! With a small but happy bunch we ended up 5th out of 14 teams (12 of those with a full team) and we are the top WMOA team in the Trophy. There were lots of controls and a double sided map, 3 timed out road crossings – I think they did all they could to confuse us yesterday.
