This page is designed to help the series co-ordinator and anyone offering to organise a series events find suitable areas. It is not a definitive list. However, it tries to filter out show areas that are not affordable or otherwise unusable in the Summer. It shows how recent the map updates are (as at March 2024) and where known has an indication of the Lead time on gaining permissions.
Two relevant documents which will also help are the Mapped Areas Master List and the list of Landowner Liason volunteers who obtain permission.
There are also areas used as part of the Night Street League series which could lend themselves to summer MapRun events using Open O maps and perhaps parts of conventional O maps. For example:
- Kinver
- Alvechurch
- Web Heath , Redditch (adjacent to Pitcheroak Wood)
